We were able to spend the evening with some friends and decided to try out wearing boyfriend jeans with boots. I think it looked kind of cute! Now, that being said, I don’t think it gave me the longest leanest look, but it was a new way to wear jeans that I normally reserve for the spring and fall.
Striped Tee from Landsend Canvas line (on sale for 7 dollars now…a steal)
Black Cardigan from Landsend Canvas line (also on sale for $13.50)
Belt from last year Loft
Boyfriend jeans from Target
Boots from Gap
What is interesting about this outfit is that none of the items are petite, they just are able to all work together without making me look too sloppy. If you haven’t checked out the Canvas line, do so they are having amazing sales and they almost always provide free shipping. Always check with retailmenot before you order!

Still Alive!!!
Oh hello! It has been awhile huh? Welp, I am going to try to change that as soon as possible! I took a little time off…a lot of time off, but I still have continued to grow my ideas on styling and enjoy looking at bloggers who are able to keep up with their sites. My turn!!!
I did leave my part-time job and am hoping to devote some of my new found time on my blog. Since I have no new pictures of outfits I have done lately, I’ll include in this post some things that I have been loving…
My Gap booties. I wear them all the time running around tending to the children:
They work really well with leggings and jeans, plus they are on sale right now!!! The style proves to be an easy on, easy off design and I love that!
I also have been loving this tunic top from Lands End Canvas:
This is technically not a petite, but the length is perfect with skinny jeans and leggings. Snagged it on sale too! Give Lands’ End Canvas line a peak. They have some really cute things! I have a shopping bag full for the next time they have a good sale…which hopefully will be soon.
I also have been wearing the Ann Taylor Petite Knit Cargo Pant (could not get the picture to copy), but they are cute and comfy to wear with tunics. These pants are currently on sale and the sizes are dwindling. If you see your size, pick up a pair FAST!! I guarantee you will wear them all of the time.
And finally I am waiting for a good deal to come along on a pair of J Crew Minnies in the bi-stretch wool. Of course these pants are not offered in petite length in my local store, so that means waiting for a code for free shipping or for them to go on sale. I think these will be a good work horse in my closet.
My next post I hope to have more pictures of me actually wearing some things!! I need to get on the ball and start sharing my finds again.
See you soon!!
